Celebrating Our “Good” Rating from PAMMS: A Reflection on Teamwork, Quality & Compassion

We are excited to share some fantastic news—our recent PAMMS (Provider Assessment and Market Management Solution) inspection conducted by our local council has awarded us a “Good” rating!

This represents not only a milestone but also a testament to the dedication, compassion, and hard work of each team member who consistently provides exceptional care every day.

What Is PAMMS?

For those unfamiliar, PAMMS is an independent quality assurance tool used by local authorities and care providers to assess how well adult social care services are operating. It focuses on key areas like:

  • Care and support planning

  • Risk management and safeguarding

  • Workforce and leadership

  • Service effectiveness

  • User and carer experience

Achieving a “Good” rating means we are meeting or exceeding expectations across these vital areas.

How Did We Get There?

Reaching this rating was not an overnight success. It stemmed from a steadfast commitment and a robust, values-oriented culture. Let's delve into what set us apart:

1. Teamwork Makes the Difference

From frontline care professionals to management and support staff, everyone played a part. Open communication, shared goals, and a strong support network helped us stay aligned and focused.

2. Person-Centred Care at the Core

We put people at the heart of everything we do. Care plans are tailored, voices are heard, and dignity is always prioritised. This approach was highlighted during the inspection as a key strength.

3. Investment in Training and Development

Our team undergoes frequent training sessions, aiming not only to fulfill requirements but to surpass them. By equipping staff with knowledge and resources, we foster an environment where quality naturally thrives.

4. Responsive Leadership

Our leadership team is actively engaged, not confined to their desks—they listen, take action, and lead by example. Their visibility, proactive approach, and receptiveness to feedback have fostered trust and resilience across the organisation.

5. A Culture of Continuous Improvement

We continually enhance our practices without waiting for inspections. Through regular internal audits, client feedback, and reflective practices, we are in a constant state of evolution—aiming to be better today than we were yesterday.

Looking Ahead

A heartfelt thanks to our amazing team and the individuals we assist—it's your voices, your stories, and your trust that inspire us to move forward each day.
